Since 2010, Open Fields activities are focused on consulting, technology transfer and training in agricultural and agro-industrial sector to companies and individuals. Open Fields will be the coordinator of the project and responsible for dissemination of results.

Capa Cologna will support agronomic activities in the farms involved in the project.

Grandi Colture will implement cultivation contracts.

Training Centre recognized with Quality Accreditation on training by the Emilia Romagna Region, Centoform will carry on the training activities of the Project.

Farm Sandali Alessandro

Farm of 260 hectars nestled in the Po valley (Ferrara province), Sandali grows “Carta del Mulino” wheat and will host sampling for biodiversity assessment.

Farm Canalazzi di Ascanelli Maurizia

Farm of 15 hectars nestled in the Po valley (Ferrara province), Canalazzi grows “Carta del Mulino” wheat and will host sampling for biodiversity assessment.

Farm Padovani Italo

Farm of 90 hectars nestled in the Po valley (Ferrara province), Padovani grows “Carta del Mulino” wheat and will host sampling for biodiversity assessment.

Barilla (non-beneficiary partner) will collaborate in the identification and problem solving.

Service providers

Two specialized service providers are involved in the Project: the Department for Innovation in Biological Agri-Food and Forestry Systems (DIBAF) Website of the University of Tuscia in Viterbo and Lumete srl Website. DIBAF will develop a system of analysis and monitoring of the sustainability of the Carta del Mulino value chain, in economic and environmental terms. Lumete will realize a mobile application of the “Carta del Mulino” portal.
